Ms. Tammy Kennedy Dear Ms. Kennedy: This letter is in reference to our recent telephone conversation regarding your grandfather, the late Dr. Earl Craton. I considered Dr. Craton to be a very learned and intelligent chiropractor and he very willingly spent a great deal of his time teaching me his upper cervical adjusting procedure and other methods. I used these procedures in my practice for over 20 years. I had previously studied and used Grostic, NUCCA, Palmer Upper Cervical, Atlas Orthogonal, and Palmer, as taught by the late Dr. Michael Kale. I also studied and used many other methods including SOT, Logan Basic, Diversified, Gonstead, Activator, Thompson, Pierce-Stillwagon, and others. I considered Dr. Craton's work to certainly be one of the most effective and useful methods I used. It certainly became the predominant method I used for cervical work and the vast majority of my patients received a Craton adjustment after all other procedures were completed. It was very effective on most conditions and would improve low back pain in many instances when lower back and pelvic adjustments were ineffective. It was especially effective at eliminating headaches, in a majority of cases, on the spot. Sincerely, Dr. Robert Ritchie, D.C. |
