The term “chiropractic” means done with the hand. So, I guess this is why so many chiropractors have such a hard time understanding that someone might find a better way to “do with the hand” than has gone before.

The funny thing is that if you try to tell an Osteopath that he’s a Chiropractor, or vice versa ... well, you get the picture.
